What is E-E-A-T?

It is short for Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness. It represents the four main criteria Google takes into account when ranking search results.

Experience

This highlights the content creator's experience with the topic. According to Google, a content creator having relevant experience on the topic gives them priority in rankings.

Expertise

The website having expertise in the subject it contains is also one of the top priorities. Content written by a subject-matter expert is seen by Google as far more trustworthy than content written by non-experts.

Authoritativeness

It takes into account the reputation of the website within it’s industry. In addition to expertise, whether the website is being used as a reference by others is highly relevant in this matter.

Trustworthiness

The reputation of the creator or writer as well as the accuracy of the content is also highly important in terms of trustworthiness. User reviews, social media interactions, and security measures are all factors that play into this topic.
